MyTechHelp LLC has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit which alleged it imposed recurring charges on consumers’ debit cards without obtaining written authorization.
You might be eligible for compensation if you are a U.S. Resident over the age of 18 who had a recurring charge initiated against their debit or credit card for one or more of MyTechHelp’s products or services. These charges must have happened between Sept. 13, 2012 to Sept. 13, 2013. You also cannot participate if you have already received a refund from MyTechHelp or had the charge reversed through your bank. The amount you can get depends on the amount of charges that you personally incurred from MyTechHelp, and whether or not you have proof, although no proof is needed to submit a claim. If you would like to submit a claim form you can do so by clicking here, and you must submit the claim form by Jan. 23, 2015 to be eligible.
